Images of photographs and other materials related to Mount Prospect can be found in the Digital Past online collection. The project is administered by the North Suburban Library System.
The items in Digital Past Mount Prospect are arranged in Two collections. The first one includes items presenting the general development of Mount Prospect, the second relates specifically to the Mount Prospect Public Library. These items range in date from 1917 to the present.

Since the late 19th century many people have left their marks on the Mount Prospect area. Much of what they built, though, has been lost or significantly altered over time. This online exhibit features some of these buildings and street scenes. They illustrate the rich history of Mount Prospect and reflect the hard work and vision of those who have come before us.
