Q: What is the limit on DVDs, videos and CDs? A: If you live in Mount Prospect, you can check out up to 4 feature film DVDs, and 15 items in each of the other AV areas (nonfiction DVDs, videocassettes, and CDs). |

Q: How do I get a Library card? A: There is no age limit for getting a Library card, but you'll need to have a parent or guardian with you when you do. Be sure to show your new card to us at the Youth Desk because we have special prizes for kids with their first library card. |

Q: What's the longest book? A: We're not sure we have that answer yet, but the longest book we've located is the Random House Dictionary of the English Language, 2nd Edition. It has 2,230 pages, and they're large pages with small printing, too. If you can help us find a longer book, tell us so we can get this question answered right. |

Q: What's the heaviest book? A: There are many heavy books in the Library but most weigh no more than 10 pounds. However, there are 2 which weigh more. Random House Dictionary of the English Language, 2nd Edition, weighs 11 pounds, and The Complete Work of Michelangelo, edited by Charles De Tolnay, weighs 11.5 pounds. If you can find a book that is heavier, let us know. |
