Cardstock (white and/or colored)
Paper lunch bag (any color)
Patterns (print on white or colored cardstock)
School supplies patterns
Crayons
Scissors
Glue

Paper Bag Backpack Pattern

Directions

1. Cut off the top of the lunch bag so it is about 8” high.

2. Print the patterns on white or colored cardstock.  Color them if you wish.  Cut them out.

3. Glue the back pattern to the back of the bag with the flap hanging over the top.  Fold the flap over the front.

4. Glue the straps to the back as shown.

5. Glue the sides and the bottom of the front pocket, but leave the top unglued so that the school supplies can later be placed in the pocket.

6. Color the school supplies if you wish and cut them out.  Put them in the front pocket.

7. Add the fastener pieces to the front if you wish.
