Donations
The Library does accept donations of books, magazines, videos, CDs etc.
Only small donations (one bagful) should be brought into the Library and taken to the Registration or Circulation desks. Larger donations should be taken to the lower level of the parking garage. Please call first and we will have someone meet you to help you unload your donation.
Items not added to the collection will be sold at the Friends of the Library book sale. For more information, contact the Registration Desk.
The Library accepts monetary donations. For more information on donating funds to the Library contact the Administration Department.

Items currently in demand
- Children’s books
- Engineering books
- Automotive repair books
- Mathematic books
- Magazines covering home decorating and design (Martha Stewart, Architectural Digest, Southern Home etc.) and hobby magazines
- Any of the “dummy” books
- Computer books relating to Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Books on tape (just about any subject)
Items we regretfully cannot accept
- Encyclopedias over 10 years old
- Chewed up damaged or wet books
- Any tax books. The rules change so often that people won’t use even recent items
- Readers Digest Condensed Books over 10 years old
- National Geographic magazines over 10 years old
- No Text books
